ABA
PRACTICE STATEMENT
Our methodology is a combination of multiple procedures for either 3D Laser Scanning, traditional total stations survey, GPS observations or the use of drones.
ABA surveys specialise in surveying the as-built environment with the majority of our work comprising 3D laser scanning, measured building and topographical surveys. Using the latest technology and equipment, we will provide you with precise measured survey data, which will enable your design team to develop a true understanding of the area and space available.
The survey output we provide can be in one or multiple of the following, 2D / 3D AutoCAD, 3D Modelling, Rights of light modelling, 3D BIM models produced in Autodesk Revit.
The data we collect, can be exported into most software packages available today.
- 3D laser scanning
- Topographical surveys
- Measured building surveys
- Floor plans
- Elevations and sections
- Right of lights survey/modelling
- 2D and 3D drafting
- Scan to BIM (Building Information Modelling) - Revit
- Architecture - interior & exterior modelling
- UAV / Drone aerial surveys and panoramic images
We are proud to deliver a comprehensive range of surveying products the accuracy of which conforms to RICS guidelines.
SURVEYS:
All data is coded on site and processed through specialist survey software which speeds up the site time and the CAD post processing time as the survey is effectively drawn on site. In the office the data is then exported to AutoCAD for final enhancement and plotting.
ABAsurveys use the most recently advanced reflectorless technology combined with the latest software which allows for real time graphical capture required for the production of scale drawings. This reduces site visits and speeds up the CAD processing times as it allows plans to be drawn on site which means surveys can be carried out in less time thereby leading to cost savings.
